Valentine's Day - back in China

For Valentine's Day, I flew my wife and family back to China... just kidding. Actually we arrived back on February 12th. The travels went off as expected which was good. We are getting better at the frenzy of security checks, carrying a small "circus" of miscellaneous clothing, toys, Cheerios, and "jooose". It is clearly evident that our twins are getting more and more mobile and we spend the down time in the airport riding the "moving sidewalks" that most airports have - back and forth, back and forth. It is a great way to kill time however and we welcome anything that will keep them in a relaxed mode on the airplane. They do know the word "sit" on the airplane, however a 13 hour flight does require a bit of creativity.

Anyway, we are both happy and sad to be "back at our house". I say this because "home" happens to be wherever we are as we do feel a bit transient from time to time. Thank you to all who took us in over the holidays and the month of January.

Until next time... a view from the Seoul / Incheon Int'l. Airport on our 2 hour layover at early evening. We flew Korean Airlines from Chicago -> Seoul -> Shanghai. The service & airline were great, but Sabrina didn't like the food. Korean bibimbop isn't on her favorites list.
For all you guys out there...Roses are about $13 a dozen here in Shanghai & that is even on V-Day which is about 3 times as expensive as a normal day. Yes, they do celebrate Valentine's here in China.
